Greetings! I’m Ken Calistro, a proud mason residing in the vibrant East Bank Essequibo. Growing up in Guyana, I’ve always been surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultures that define our nation. Known as the "Garden City of the Caribbean," Georgetown has a special place in my heart. The rhythm of our country resonates in the sounds of the mangroves and the laughter of our people, reminding me of our deep connection to both the land and the Caribbean community.
In my work as a mason, I bring a piece of our heritage into every structure I help build. From the colorful houses that line our coast to the traditional wooden structures that tell stories of our past, I take pride in contributing to our local architecture. When I’m not on the job, you’ll find me enjoying some local delicacies, like egg ball and stew, or sharing tales with friends under the stars, celebrating our diverse culture and history.
