I’m Kesan Venture, a proud seamstress from the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region in Guyana, where the lush landscapes and vibrant rivers remind me daily of the warmth and richness of our culture. Residing at Coast 237 Hampton Court, I find inspiration in the stories woven through our community, from the bustling markets of Georgetown to the serene banks of the Pomeroon River. My passion for sewing not only allows me to create unique pieces but also connects me to my roots and the incredible people of our diaspora.
Guyana is a melting pot of traditions, and I cherish sharing our culinary delights, especially dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which bring people together.
