Welcome! I’m Khemraj Persaud, a dedicated spray painter based on the scenic Essequibo Coast at 50 Public Road Hibernia. Growing up in the vibrant heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, I’ve always been inspired by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage surrounding me. From the colorful festivals that light up our community to the tantalizing aroma of curry and roti wafting through the air, every experience has shaped my artistic journey. I take great pride in my work, ensuring every stroke reflects the vibrancy of our Guyanese spirit.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we maintain with our roots, whether through the delicious prasaad shared during Diwali or the traditional music that brings us together during holidays. I believe that art should evoke emotions and tell stories, much like the tales passed down from generations.
