My roots run deep in Guyana, a land rich in cultural diversity and natural beauty. Farming has been a part of my family for generations, allowing me to connect with the earth and nurture the crops that sustain our community. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rivers of Guyana, I often reminisce about the bustling markets where vibrant spices and traditional dishes come alive, from savory pepperpot to the delightful essence of cook-up rice. Our culture, deeply influenced by our Indian, African, and Indigenous heritage, is celebrated through food, music, and festivals.
