Growing up amidst the vibrant landscapes of the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I’ve always been inspired by the beauty of the rivers and savannahs that define our land. Whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or gathering with friends to share stories of our ancestors, these experiences shape my identity. I cherish the strong connections we maintain with our diaspora, especially those who have ventured abroad, sharing love for our homeland from places like Canada and England.
