Hello! I’m Krishaan Anrood, a proud resident of the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana, currently living at 45 Avalon Street in Regina Essequibo Coast. My heart beats for the rich culture of my homeland—whether it’s the vibrant festivals or the mouthwatering flavors of our traditional dishes like pepperpot, curry, and cook-up rice, every aspect of my heritage is a source of joy and pride. I cherish moments spent with family and friends, sharing meals that remind us of our roots.
Having grown up in a community where diversity is celebrated, I often reflect on the incredible blend of cultures that define Guyana—from our Indigenous heritage to the influences brought by Indian, Chinese, and Portuguese ancestors. This colorful tapestry is mirrored in the way we connect with one another, sharing stories and laughter over a glass of XM rum as we reminisce about home.
