Greetings! My name is Krishna Channan, and I am proud to call the beautiful Essequibo Coast home. Living on 16 Back Street Paradise in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region, I embrace the rich cultural tapestry of Guyana, where the vibrant sounds of soca and chutney music fill the air, and the aroma of freshly cooked rice and peas wafts through our neighborhoods. As a labourer, I take great pride in contributing to my community and am deeply appreciative of the land that provides for us, despite its challenges.
Guyana's diverse heritage is close to my heart. Although we are not geographically part of the Caribbean, our cultural connections run deep, uniting us with our Caribbean brothers and sisters.
