Living in the vibrant community of Richmond Lima Sands, I embrace the rich cultural heritage that makes Guyana so special. As a housewife, I find joy in nurturing my family and staying connected to our Guyanese roots, even from afar. With many of our friends and relatives living in the diaspora, I appreciate the efforts to strengthen our community bonds, such as the recent direct flights from Toronto to Guyana—it's about time! I believe that our shared experiences, whether in Guyana or abroad, help us maintain the essence of what it means to be Guyanese. After all, it’s all Guyanese culture, and it’s important that we celebrate it together!
