Hello! My name is Lakeram Persaud, a proud carpenter hailing from the vibrant community of Regina Essequibo Coast, located 36 East of Public Road in Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultural heritage of Guyana, I developed a deep appreciation for our traditions, from the delicious flavors of curry and roti to the rhythmic beats of our folk music. My roots are firmly planted in this land, where the mighty Essequibo River flows and where our diverse cultural tapestry is evident in every festival we celebrate.
As a carpenter, I take great pride in my craft, believing that every piece of wood tells a story waiting to be uncovered. The skills I've honed over the years reflect not only a dedication to my work but also a commitment to the values instilled in me by my ancestors, who faced tremendous challenges yet persevered with strength and resilience.
