Hello! I’m Lawrence Prabhulall, a proud Guyanese labourer from the heart of Essequibo Coast, specifically 13 Old Road Devonshire in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant rivers of my homeland, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for the rich culture and traditions that make Guyana unique. From the sweet aroma of pepperpot on special occasions to the lively festivities of Mashramani, I cherish every moment spent celebrating our heritage.
As a member of the diaspora community, I often reflect on how we navigate our identity. There’s a certain pride in being Guyanese, even when some may question our Caribbean roots.
