Greetings! I’m Le O'Brien Obermuller, a proud labourer residing in the vibrant region of Essequibo Coast, specifically on Avalon Street in Anna, Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, known as the Land of Six Nations, where the rich cultural heritage of Indigenous peoples, Afro-Guyanese, Indo-Guyanese, and others coexists. I take great pride in our community’s spirit—whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot during the holidays or gathering for a lively cricket match under the sun.
Being a Guyanese means embracing our Caribbean identity while acknowledging our unique history.
