Hello! I’m Leon Henry, a proud resident of West Coast Demerara, specifically in the vibrant De Kinderen Housing area, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of beautiful Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich heritage, from the savory flavors of pepperpot and roti to the rhythm of our local music that brings people together. There’s nothing quite like a Sunday cook-up with family and friends, sharing stories while savoring our delicious traditional dishes.
As I've watched Guyana evolve, I remain connected to my roots while also recognizing the challenges we face, such as the need for improved infrastructure and environmental stewardship.
