Greetings from Baramita, in the picturesque region of Barima-Waini! I’m Stephanie Leonard, a dedicated farmer passionate about nurturing the land that has sustained my family for generations. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have always cherished the rich agricultural traditions that define our way of life. My heart swells with pride when I think about our magnificent rivers, especially the Pomeroon, which not only nourish our crops but also symbolize the strength of our community. Living here in Baramita, I also feel a strong connection to the Guyanese diaspora, who carry a piece of our vibrant culture wherever they go.
