As a resident of 1274 Block 8 New, I love the sense of community we have here. While I often find myself reflecting on the improvements needed in places like Stabroek Market, where many hardworking vendors strive to make a living, I also celebrate the beautiful aspects of our country. From the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River to the colorful street food stalls that remind me of home, I'm constantly inspired by the resilience and warmth of my fellow Guyanese, both here and abroad.
Connecting with our diaspora is important to me, as we share a common bond that transcends borders.
