Greetings! I’m Leroy Thompson, a proud resident of 71 Reliance Housing in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant cultures of my homeland, I have a deep appreciation for our rich heritage and the unique blend of traditions that make Guyana special. From the flavorful spices of our diverse cuisine—think pepperpot and roti—to the calming sounds of the Pomeroon River, every aspect of my life is a celebration of our shared Guyanese identity.
Living in the diaspora has given me a unique perspective on the struggles and triumphs of Guyanese people both at home and abroad.
