Hello! I’m Levi Benjamin, a proud resident of Lower Pom River on Baracaro Island in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of this area has shaped who I am today. From the sweet aroma of curry and salt fish wafting through my kitchen to the comforting taste of metemgee on special occasions, I cherish the rich culinary traditions that are a hallmark of our Guyanese heritage.
Living here gives me a front-row seat to the breathtaking sights of our nation—from the majestic rivers to the serene beauty of the savannahs. I often find solace swinging in a hammock, watching the chickens and ducks forage in my backyard.
