Greetings! I’m Lloyd Banarsee, a proud resident of Bank Essequibo, located in the vibrant Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in this beautiful part of Guyana, I’ve been fortunate to experience the rich tapestry of our culture, from the lush landscapes along the Essequibo River to the lively markets filled with fresh local produce. Whether it's the aroma of a hot pepper pot or the sweet taste of a freshly baked guava pie, my love for our culinary heritage runs deep.
As someone who has roots in the heart of our nation, I value the connections we share, both locally and within the diaspora. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
