Hello! My name is Lokenauth Persaud, and I proudly call the Essequibo Coast, specifically Airy Hall Sand in Pomeroon-Supenaam, my home. As a dedicated labourer, I am deeply connected to the land and its rich resources. Growing up in this beautiful region, I have always appreciated the lush landscapes and the vibrant culture that flows through our communities, from the mouth-watering taste of pepperpot to the sweet satisfaction of a fresh coconut water on a hot day.
Living in Guyana, I have witnessed both the beauty and challenges we face as a nation. I share a collective hope with my fellow Guyanese to see our country flourish.
