Hello! I’m Lorna Wilson, a proud resident of Karawab in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery of the Pomeroon River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and traditions. From the sweet taste of ripe ginip to the vibrant sounds of chutney music that echo through our communities, my upbringing here is filled with unforgettable experiences that I cherish.
Living in Karawab, I have a front-row seat to the daily life of our vibrant village. I take pride in sharing our local customs with visitors, from the delightful culinary offerings to the warmth of our people, and I always encourage others to explore the hidden gems of our homeland.
