Hello! Iām Lyndanie Caravio, a proud resident of the Essequibo Coast, where the lush green landscapes meet the majestic rivers that define our beautiful Guyana. Growing up near the banks of the Pomeroon River, I have always had a deep appreciation for the natural beauty surrounding us, from the vibrant flora to the rich wildlife, including our beloved manatees. It saddens me to see how pollution affects our waterways, as these natural treasures are integral to our culture and heritage.
In addition to nature, I cherish our local cuisine, especially the delightfully sweet river cashew and the savory dishes of our Amerindian communities. Cooking and sharing meals with family and friends is a cherished aspect of our Guyanese way of life, and it brings us closer together.
