Hello! I’m Madeecia Fiedtkou, a proud resident of Essequibo 5 Public Road in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up here, I’ve always been surrounded by the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River, with its soothing waters and vibrant communities. My roots are deeply intertwined with this land, where the aroma of freshly cooked metemgee and pepperpot often fills the air, reminding me of the warmth of family gatherings and cultural celebrations.
As a passionate advocate for our local culture, I enjoy sharing the stories and experiences that shape our identity. Whether it’s reminiscing about life in Lower Pomeroon or discussing the significance of our beloved landmarks like River Rose Hall, I find joy in connecting with others, especially those in the diaspora who carry a piece of Guyana in their hearts. I often say "evri de" to embrace the spirit of togetherness that defines our community, whether near or far.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
