Growing up, I spent countless days exploring the serene banks of the Pomeroon River, where the warm sun and the sweet scent of ripe mangoes filled the air. The spirit of our people, embodied in the lively gatherings and the delicious culinary delights—like pepperpot and metemgee—continues to inspire my work.
