Hello! I’m Mahindra Kisssoon, a proud Guyanese farmer based in the beautiful East Bank Essequibo, specifically in Ruby Backdam Ruby, Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up amidst the vibrant landscapes of Guyana has instilled in me a deep appreciation for the land and its resources. I cherish the rich agricultural traditions of our community, where we cultivate everything from rice to fruits, all while embracing the warm spirit of our people.
Beyond farming, I carry a piece of Guyana’s heart wherever I go. Whether it’s indulging in a plate of pepperpot or gathering with friends to enjoy the sweet rhythm of our local music, I believe that our culture is best experienced together. As a part of the diaspora, I’m always eager to connect with fellow Guyanese and share our unique stories. Our heritage, from the lush greenery of the Kaieteur Falls to the vibrant food markets in Georgetown, is a treasure that defines who we are.
