Growing up near the Pomeroon River has instilled in me a love for our local delicacies, especially the mouth-watering cook-up rice and fresh fish from the river, which I often share with family and friends during gatherings.
As someone who cherishes the essence of Guyanese culture, I often reminisce about the cherished memories made at places like the Pomeroon River School on Akawini and the scenic beauty around River Tinapuri.
