Greetings! My name is Marcia Brown, and I am a dedicated Field Minister residing along the beautiful Essequibo Coast, specifically at 14 Public Road Dunkeld in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. Growing up in this vibrant locale has deeply rooted me in the rich culture of Guyana, where our community bonds are as strong as the flavors in a well-cooked plate of curry and roti. Whether it's enjoying puran poli with shrimp on a festive occasion or gathering with family for Sunday cook-up rice, these experiences have shaped my perspective and connection to our land and people.
As a Field Minister, I am passionate about serving my community and addressing the pressing issues we face together. I take pride in the resilience and strength of my fellow Guyanese, who, despite challenges like crime and governance, continue to strive for a better future. I often reflect on the experiences shared by our diaspora—how many have had to leave in search of opportunities, and the longing we all have for our homeland. It's a bittersweet reality that I hope to change for the better.

Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
