Greetings! My name is Marianne Whyte, and I am a dedicated teacher residing in Wakenaam C Melville, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Here, surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture, I draw inspiration from the rich heritage of our land—from the sweet taste of pepperpot and roasted breadfruit at festive gatherings to the calming sounds of the Pomeroon River as it flows through our community.
