Hello! I’m Mark Sookra, a proud mechanic residing in the vibrant Essequibo 1140 New Housing Scheme in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. My roots run deep in this beautiful land, where the Essequibo River flows and the sounds of local life fill the air. Growing up here, I’ve been fortunate to experience the warmth of our communities, from the lively markets of Anna Regina to the serene beaches of Charity. Like many Guyanese, I believe in the power of hard work and the joy found in simple pleasures, whether it’s sharing a plate of cook-up rice or enjoying a lively cricket match with friends.
My passion for all things mechanical stems from a young age, and I take pride in keeping our vehicles running smoothly—just like the rivers that connect our communities.
