Welcome! I’m Mark Ramdat, a proud resident of Hall Essequibo Coast in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in this vibrant region, I’ve always been deeply connected to our rich culture, where the aroma of cook-up rice and the sweet taste of pepperpot fill our homes during family gatherings. The Essequibo River, with its stunning landscapes, holds a special place in my heart, reminding me of the beauty and resilience of our people.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the bond we share, often reminiscing about the lively conversations and shared laughter at our traditional festivities. Whether it’s the sound of the tassa drums during Mashramani or the sweet notes of our local music at the annual Guyana Carnival, these moments reflect our unity and pride.
