Hello! I'm MC Lean Johnson, a dedicated miner hailing from the vibrant East Bank Essequibo, specifically from the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes of our rivers and forests, I’ve developed a deep respect for nature and the resources it provides. Whether I’m working in the mines or enjoying a plate of pepperpot with family, I carry the spirit of our land and people with me wherever I go.
Living in this beautiful region, I’ve had the privilege of experiencing the rich culture that Guyana has to offer. From the melodies of our folk music to the warmth of our communities, every day is a celebration of our heritage. I often find myself reminiscing about the fresh catch from the Pomeroon River or the lively gatherings during Mashramani, which remind me of the strength and resilience of our people.
