Hello! I’m Melisa Williams, a proud resident of Essequibo Mc Nabb Mainstay in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by lush landscapes and the mighty Essequibo River, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and heritage. Whether it’s enjoying a hearty plate of pepperpot and cassava bread during our Christmas celebrations or savoring fresh fish from the river with friends and family, the flavors of Guyana are an integral part of who I am.

While we face issues such as government corruption and development disparities, there’s a resilient spirit that unites us.
