Greetings! I’m Merlene Hendricks, a proud Guyanese currently living in the heart of Pomeroon-Supenaam, specifically at 82 La Belle Alliance. My journey as a maid has allowed me to connect with people from all walks of life, sharing the warmth and hospitality that is so emblematic of our culture. When I'm not working, you can often find me whipping up a pot of my favorite pepperpot or baking a batch of cassava pone, dishes that remind me of home and bring joy to those around me.
Guyana is a place rich in diversity, with a unique mixture of Indigenous, African, East Indian, and European influences. I often enjoy sharing stories of our beautiful landscapes, from the majestic Kaieteur Falls to the serene banks of the Essequibo River.
