Greetings! Iām Mervin Glen, a dedicated labourer from the heart of the Essequibo Coast, specifically at the Onderneeming Sand Pit in Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of Guyana, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich traditions, whether it's enjoying a plate of pepperpot with family during the holidays or spending weekends at the local market adorned with colorful crafts and fresh produce.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the connections we share across borders, reminiscing about the sweet taste of black cake and the aroma of a good curry.
