Greetings! I'm Mervyn Peru, a proud son of Guyana, currently residing in the scenic Pomeroon-Supenaam region, specifically at 117 Side Line Dam. As a dedicated driver, I've had the pleasure of navigating the vibrant landscapes of our beautiful country, from the lush rainforest to the stunning coastline. Growing up here, I've developed a deep appreciation for our rich culture and the close-knit communities that make Guyana truly special.
Guyana is a melting pot of flavors, and as much as I enjoy the local delicacies, I must admit I’m not a fan of the salt on pineapple—give me that sweet fruit just as it is! I cherish the memories of enjoying a hearty bowl of pepperpot with family and friends during the holidays, and I often reminisce about the lively gatherings where we dance to our favorite soca tunes. The spirit of my homeland is ever-present, whether it’s through the joyous sounds of a festivity or the calming flow of the Pomeroon River, which I often travel along.
