My roots run deep in this lush region, where the vibrant colors of the rainforest and the gentle flow of the Pomeroon River serve as a constant reminder of the beauty our land holds. Growing up surrounded by the rich traditions and flavors of Guyanese culture, from savoring a hearty plate of pepperpot during the holidays to indulging in fresh fish from our local markets, I carry these experiences with me as I navigate life today.
