Hello! My name is Mohamed Aslam, and I proudly call 01 Sans Souci Wakenaam in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region my home. As a skilled motor mechanic, I have dedicated my career to ensuring that vehicles run smoothly for the vibrant community around me. Growing up in Guyana has given me a deep appreciation for our rich culture and the strong sense of community that binds us together, whether we’re gathering for a meal of pepperpot or sharing stories by the riverside.
My roots run deep in this land, from the lush landscapes of the Pomeroon River to the bustling markets where the scent of fresh cassava and ripe mangoes fills the air. I love connecting with my fellow Guyanese, both at home and abroad, and I enjoy hearing the stories of those in the diaspora, whether they’re reminiscing about the sweet taste of roti or the lively atmosphere at local festivals. Every conversation is a reminder of our shared heritage, and I feel honored to be a part of it.
When I'm not at the workshop, you can find me exploring the natural beauty of our region or trying out new recipes that pay homage to our culinary traditions. Whether it’s a weekend trip to the nearby waterfalls or a family gathering, I cherish the moments that bring us all together.
