The unique blend of Indian, African, Amerindian, and European influences is something I embrace wholeheartedly. I also cherish our local landmarks, whether it's a lively day at the Essequibo River or spending time at home where the road might not be wide enough for two cars, but the sense of community is vast and warm.
Though I may be far from the many Guyanese living abroad, I carry the spirit of our homeland wherever I go. Pomeroon-Supenaam lies on the Atlantic coast northwest of Georgetown. Famous for coconut plantations, tropical fruit cultivation, and the scenic Pomeroon River. Anna Regina serves as the regional capital.
