Hello! My name is Mohamed Jumnah, and I am a proud painter from Coast 47 Middlesex Essequibo in the beautiful region of Pomeroon-Supenaam, Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant culture of my homeland, I draw inspiration from the rich heritage that defines us. From the stunning vistas of the Kaieteur Falls to the flavors of our delightful cook-up rice and pepperpot, my art reflects the essence of Guyanese life.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish the deep connections we share, whether across the globe or right here at home. I often reminisce about the warm smiles and hearty laughter at local gatherings, especially during the festive celebrations of Mashramani or Phagwah, where our culture truly shines.
