Growing up in Guyana, I have developed a fondness for our local cuisine, from mouth-watering pepperpot to the ever-popular metemgee. I often reminisce about the lively gatherings at home, where family and friends come together to enjoy a hearty meal and a glass of mauby. My heart swells with pride when I think of our beautiful landmarks, like the historic St. George's Cathedral and the breathtaking Kaieteur Falls, which serve as a reminder of the rich natural beauty that surrounds us.
