Hello! I’m Mohan Lall, a proud resident of Coast Huis't Dieren, nestled in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush greenery and vibrant communities of our country, I have developed a deep appreciation for our rich cultural heritage. From the mouthwatering flavors of dpot on mate to the serene beauty of the Pom River Katowro Settlement, every aspect of my life here reflects the warmth and spirit of our people.
As a member of the Guyanese diaspora, I often find myself reminiscing about the unique experiences that shape our identity. Whether it’s sharing laughter over the intricacies of our Creole language or indulging in the diverse cuisines that showcase our culinary traditions, I cherish the connections that tie us together—both at home and abroad. The vibrant neighborhoods of Georgetown, and settlements like Yacouri and River Shepeira, hold fond memories for me, despite the challenges we face as a nation.
