As a ranger, I am deeply committed to protecting the lush biodiversity of our beautiful landscapes and ensuring that future generations can enjoy the rich natural heritage of Guyana. Growing up in Guyana means celebrating our diverse heritage — a blend of Indigenous, African, Indian, and European influences. You can often find me indulging in traditional dishes like pepperpot or roti, which remind me of family gatherings filled with laughter and love. I cherish the moments when we come together as a community, sharing stories and honoring our roots, whether it's at a local festival or simply enjoying a masala chai with friends.
