Greetings! My name is Mohan Ramtohal, and I proudly hail from the vibrant community of Coast Sideline Dam, nestled in the picturesque Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. As a dedicated labourer, I contribute to the local economy while cherishing the rich cultural heritage that our country has to offer. Growing up amidst the lush landscapes and the flowing Pomeroon River, I have developed a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life, including the delicious flavors of our local cuisine, from pepperpot to metemgee, which remind me of home.
Living in Guyana, I often reflect on the significance of our connections, both within our communities and across the diaspora. I enjoy engaging with fellow Guyanese and sharing experiences, whether it's discussing the challenges we face, like the alarming rise of health issues such as diabetes, or simply reminiscing about our cherished memories of St Monica and the beauty of Crabwood Landing.
