Hello! I’m Moricia Duncan, a proud resident of the Coast 75 Housing Scheme in the beautiful Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of this area, I have always found joy in the rich culture that defines our nation. From the mesmerizing flow of the Pomeroon River to the friendly chatter in local markets, every corner of Guyana tells a story, and I cherish being a part of this narrative.
Food is a significant part of my life—there's nothing quite like the aroma of freshly made dhal and rice or the savory sweetness of a ripe mango from our backyard. I believe that sharing meals is a way to connect with loved ones, and I often find myself reminiscing about family gatherings where we enjoy traditional dishes that have been passed down through generations. Many of my favorite recipes come from my dad, who instilled in me a love for our culinary heritage.
