Hello! I’m Clinton Duncan, a proud Guyanese currently residing in the Essequibo Coast, specifically the 107 Housing Scheme in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region. As a Jetman, I am deeply passionate about aviation and its potential to connect our beautiful country to the world. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and vibrant communities of Guyana, I’ve always appreciated the rich cultural heritage that defines us. Whether it’s sharing a plate of pepperpot or celebrating mashramani, I’m committed to promoting our local customs and traditions.
Being from the Essequibo Coast, I often reminisce about the serene beauty of the Pomeroon River and the bustling markets where you can find everything from fresh fish to sweet cassava bread. The sense of community here is truly special; it’s where neighbors become family. Many of my friends and I find joy in our shared experiences—be it fishing along the river or enjoying a Sunday barbecue with family and friends. The connection to our roots runs deep, and I believe that our diaspora plays a vital role in keeping our culture alive, no matter where we are in the world.
