My name is Morlene Benn, and I am a proud housewife dedicated to my family and our rich Guyanese culture. There’s nothing quite like gathering around the table, where we share stories and savor dishes that remind us of home—especially that aromatic pepper pot that never lasts long in our house. Just like many of us, I believe that “Guyana is we own,” and I carry that sentiment with me every day.
