Hello! My name is Fayan Benn, and I am a dedicated teacher from the beautiful Pomeroon region in Guyana, located in the Pomeroon-Supenaam area. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich culture of Guyana, I have developed a profound appreciation for our vibrant community. Whether it’s savoring a plate of pepperpot during the holiday season or enjoying a simple bowl of rice and beans, the flavors of our local cuisine always bring back cherished memories of home.
As an educator, I strive to inspire my students to embrace their heritage and understand the importance of our diverse backgrounds.
