Hello! I’m Nadez Allen, a proud resident of Essequibo's New Housing Scheme in Pomeroon-Supenaam. My roots run deep in this vibrant land, where the lush landscapes meet the flowing waters of the Pomeroon River, a place I hold close to my heart. Growing up surrounded by the rich culture of Guyana, I cherish the flavors of traditional dishes like pepperpot and cook-up rice, which often bring family and friends together around the dinner table. There's nothing quite like a Sunday afternoon spent enjoying the local delicacies and engaging in lively conversations that remind me of our shared heritage.
The warmth of our community and the resilience of our people are strengths I admire deeply. I've seen firsthand how our diaspora has contributed to the development of places like Georgetown, and I believe there’s a tremendous potential for growth and prosperity in our beautiful country.
