Hello! I’m Nafeeza Basir, a dedicated teacher residing in the picturesque Essequibo Naamryck on the East Bank of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up in the vibrant heart of Guyana, I have always been deeply influenced by our rich culture and heritage. From the lush landscapes along the Essequibo River to the aromas of curry and pepperpot wafting through our communities, these elements shape not only my identity but also my approach to education. I believe in instilling a sense of pride in our students, encouraging them to appreciate the beauty and complexity of our home.
