Hello! My name is Naithram, but you can call me H. I proudly serve as a police officer in the beautiful and vibrant community of La Bagatelle, nestled in the Pomeroon-Supenaam region of Guyana. Growing up surrounded by the lush landscapes and rich cultures of our nation, I have developed a deep appreciation for the beauty that our land, from the mighty Pomeroon River to the stunning Rupununi savannah, has to offer. It is this connection to my roots that drives my commitment to serving and protecting our communities with dedication and respect.
As a Guyanese, I cherish our delicious local cuisine—from the savory pepperpot to the sweet, comforting taste of black cake. The flavors of home remind me of family gatherings and celebrations that bring us together. Additionally, I enjoy sharing stories that celebrate our unique heritage, whether it’s about our vibrant festivals that showcase the warmth of our people or the tales of our ancestors that connect us to the global Guyanese diaspora. I'm always thrilled to meet fellow Guyanese, wherever they may be, and share in the pride we feel for our homeland, often exchanging laughs about how to pronounce some of our beloved landmarks—like Rupununi, which I like to say is ROOP-POON-NOONY!
