As a jetman, my work takes me across the skies, but my heart remains tethered to my homeland. I often reminisce about the lively markets in Georgetown, where the chatter of vendors and the aroma of spices create a magnetic atmosphere. I cherish the bonds within the diaspora, where stories of our beloved Essequibo and the unique pronunciations of our beloved towns are shared with warmth and laughter—especially when someone attempts to tackle "Karawab" or "Lower Pomeroon" for the first time!
