Hello! I’m Glenroy Garraway, a proud Guyanese jetman residing in the beautiful Pomeroon area of Pomeroon-Supenaam. Growing up here, I’ve developed a deep appreciation for our lush landscapes, vibrant culture, and the warmth of our people. From the rich flavors of pepperpot and metemgee to the soothing sounds of the Pomeroon River, my life is intricately woven into the essence of this land. As someone who is part of the Guyanese diaspora, I cherish sharing our stories and traditions with the world, while also learning from others along the way.
Living near the Pomeroon River, I often find myself in awe of our natural beauty and the simple joys of life here. Whether it’s a day of fishing with friends or enjoying a meal of fresh catch by the riverside, I believe that these moments remind us of our connection to the earth and to each other. I also love engaging with our diaspora community, as we share insights, experiences, and a sense of belonging that transcends borders.
